The Ultralight Articulating Night Vision Binocular – Katana Ruggedized (U.A.N.V.B.-R), known as the “Katana Ruggedized,” is an articulating binocular housing constructed from high-strength aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum. Using advanced multi-axis CNC machining, the housing achieves an ultra-lightweight yet highly durable design with optimized single-piece pod geometry for enhanced strength and performance.
Its low-profile form factor allows easier mounting and dismounting from vehicles while stowed. The system also features a patented Friction Lock Inter-pupillary Distance (IPD) Adjustment system, allowing users to set their preferred IPD once without requiring additional tools.
