Configure your Nocturn Industries Katana with the L3Harris unfilmed white phosphor tubes of your choice. Each system is assembled in-house using genuine Fujinon optics and built to order with your selected image tubes.
Every device is fully calibrated using our Hoffman Engineering ANV-126A with HVS Vision System and function tested to verify proper optical performance before shipment.
Our image tubes are in stock and ready for assembly, allowing us to build your Katana to your exact configuration with minimal lead time.
Each completed device is:
- Built with genuine Fujinon lenses
- Individually assembled in-house
- Calibrated using Hoffman Engineering test equipment
- Function tested and quality inspected prior to shipment

Dark spots, or “pepper,” may not appear in the same “clock” position shown in the photos. This is because the tube photos are taken using the Hoffman Engineering tube testing apparatus, which holds the tube in a specific orientation that may differ from how it will be installed in a housing.
Tubes may be installed on either the left or right side, so their orientation may differ from what is shown in the photos. If you have a preferred side for each tube, please reply to your order confirmation email and let us know your preference.

The Nocturn Industries Katana Molded is the newest and best version of the Katana to date! The Nocturn Industries Katana Gen 3 Molded (Ultralight Articulating Night Vision Binocular dubbed UANVB “Katana”) remains the lightest binocular on the market, with on board power, weighing in less than 15 oz fully built. The articulating design allows for individual pod shut off, enabling the user to use one or both eyes while utilizing non-passive aiming systems. End users will be able to mount and dismount vehicles easier with the low profile of the UANVB when stowed. The UANVB features the original Friction Lock Interpupillary Adjustment feature so you can set it and forget it with no additional tools. This unit may be lightweight but does not compromise strength as it exceeds MIL-STD-810G and had been drop tested beyond NATO or TOP standards (6 feet to concrete in 6 different orientations on a single device).
We build our devices using our suite of in house state of the art equipment, including the Hoffman Engineering ANV-126A Test Set and HVS Vision System. The same equipment tube manufacturers such as Elbit Systems of America and L3Harris Technologies use. This allows us to remove any subjectivity in assembly and maintain the absolute highest degree of precision possible. What this equates to is a device built to an exceeding degree of quality and to exacting standards.
