These Nocturn Industries Raptor are equipped with Elbit M24MH7 Pinnacle 2.0 2376+ FOM White Phosphor image intensifier tubes and Fujinon lenses.

M24MH7 tubes were previously only available in Elbit Systems of America factory-built AN/PVS-31D for the U.S. Marine Corps SBNVG program. We worked directly with Elbit Systems of America to establish a special contract to provide these tubes in our own systems.

M24MH7 is the highest-tier and grade of Elbit tube available, offering leading performance in both specifications and cosmetics. The M24MH7 grade has a tight maximum halo value of 0.9 and maximum EBI value of 2.0.

The M24MH7 SKU is far superior to run-of-the-mill Mil-Spec M24 tubes, which have a 1.0 maximum halo and 2.5 maximum EBI, with many spots allowed. Pinnacle 2.0 represents Elbit Systems of America’s strictest spot-specification tolerance and adherence. This means the M24MH7 SKU has significantly cleaner screen cosmetics than other tube types, such as XLSH, SLH, YH, VH, MH, M, etc.

The UANVB-SC "Raptor" is Nocturn Industries' Ultra-Light Articulating Night Vision Binocular with a single control interface, building on lessons learned from previous Nocturn models and direct user feedback. The Nocturn Raptor housing is molded from a carbon-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite that outperforms traditional polymer housings and rivals the tensile strength of 6061-T6 aluminum, all while keeping the unit lightweight.

A single ergonomic control knob handles both power and gain adjustment. Double-tapping the knob activates the onboard IR illuminator, with an integrated status indicator and adjustable brightness while it's active. The same knob can also enable or disable auto-shutoff when the unit is stowed.

The Raptor is compatible with standard EGAC MX-11769 and 3-pad MX-11769 image intensifier tubes, as well as PVS-14 optics and accessories, and its image tube pod interchanges with Nocturn's U.N.V.M. "Talon." Low-profile, tool-free IPD knobs make interpupillary distance adjustment quick and easy for fast setup and a comfortable fit. It includes an onboard battery compartment plus an external LEMO 2-pin power port for extended runtime with external battery packs.
