The Nocturn Industries DAISHO Bridge for Tanto
Monoculars is allows the ability to join two Tanto Monoculars into a dedicated binocular system. The TAPB (Tanto Articulating Powered Bridge) Daisho needs installed in minutes using minimal tools and does not compromise on weight or functionality. The innovative design allows users to seamlessly transform their UANVM Tanto monoculars into an articulating binocular in under a minute or go from a Daisho binocular back to two monoculars to share with a partner (requires any PVS-14 style J-Arm for monocular use). To transform into the binocular, simply remove the battery cap and battery, insert the bridge into the battery compartment, and tighten the rear clamp screws on the bridge, done. The bridge enables the use of a single battery for both tubes, has optional built in IPD stops, individual pod power on/off when articulated to the side, etc. similar to the UANVB “Katana.” A LEMO remote power port option is available as well.

To attach Tantos monoculars to the Daisho bridge, simply remove the battery caps from each Tanto, slide the Tanto monoculars into the Daisho power rods, swing the retaining bars into place and secure each bolt. An included insert for each Tanto monocular will provide each pod the ability to automatically cut power when articulated out of view - a feature typically reserved for some dedicated binoculars only.

The Daisho bridge will accept a single CR123A battery and powers both Tanto monoculars simultaneously. A LEMO port variant is also available for external battery pack use.
