These Chimera are the limited edition ruggedized magnesium housing variant, which were limited to only 150 total units worldwide. The ruggedized lightweight magnesium construction offers unmatched durability in hard use environments.

M24MH7 is the highest-tier and grade of tube available, offering leading performance in both specifications and cosmetics. Pinnacle 2.0 represents Elbit Systems of America’s strictest spot-specification tolerance and adherence. This means the M24MH7 SKU has significantly cleaner screen cosmetics than other tube types, such as XLSH, SLH, YH, VH, MH, M, etc.

The Nocturn Chimera UAPNVG (Ultralight Articulating Panoramic Night Vision Goggle) is the next evolution in quad-tube night vision systems. Designed and manufactured by Nocturn Industries, the Chimera is the world’s first articulating panoramic night vision housing, delivering expansive situational awareness in a compact, ergonomic platform built for serious users.

Please note: Any color differences in the photos are a result of the camera auto balance. Tubes are the same hue and color. Focus may vary slightly due to camera auto focus. Tube images were captured while on the Hoffman ANV-126A viewing the spot target/reticle and may not reflect all cosmetic aspects; pepper, bright spots, lighting, shadows, etc.

Engineered for professional end users and NVG enthusiasts alike the Nocturn Chimera combines panoramic capability with a patented articulating design that reduces bulk, improves balance, and enhances operational mobility in real-world environments.

The Chimera’s optical pods articulate independently, allowing the device to stow rearward toward the helmet. This creates one of the lowest stowed profiles available in a quad-tube panoramic configuration. When stowed, the Chimera maintains a footprint comparable to articulating binocular night vision goggles, making it significantly easier to move through tight doorways, vehicles, confined spaces, and dense terrain.

By shifting the weight closer to the helmet mount pivot point, the Chimera significantly reduces forward cantilever and neck fatigue. Its optimized center of gravity improves long-term comfort and wearability during extended missions, training evolutions, night hunting sessions, and professional operations.

Each pod can be stowed independently without collapsing the entire system, giving users unmatched flexibility in the field. Operators can quickly transition between full panoramic deployment and reduced-profile configurations while maintaining rapid access to night vision functionality. This independent pod articulation enhances mobility, reduces snag hazards, and allows more efficient integration with weapon-mounted optics or thermal devices.

Built with durability and performance in mind, the Nocturn Chimera UAPNVG sets a new standard for articulating panoramic night vision housings.

Key Features

Patented articulating quad-tube panoramic design

Independent pod articulation for maximum versatility

Ultra-low stowed profile for tight spaces and vehicle operations

Optimized weight distribution to reduce neck strain

Compact, ergonomic layout engineered for professional use

Whether you’re building a high-performance panoramic night vision system or upgrading to the most advanced articulating quad-tube housing available, the Nocturn Chimera delivers elite-level capability without compromise.

The Ultralight Articulating Panoramic Night Vision Goggle (U.A.P.N.V.G.), known as the “Chimera,”represents the next evolution in panoramic night vision goggle systems.
